Sunglass Accessories For Sunglass Care
I own an expensive pair of sunglasses. I know buying sunglass accessories is a great way to protect them. I use them for driving when the sun is bright, and they make me look good too. After I scratched up my last pair, I learned to take better care of my sunglasses. I had always polished them with my shirt, sweater, or whatever was handy. The lenses were large and mirrored, and so the damage from polishing them like that showed up pretty quickly. Apparently, even a shirt that feels soft to the touch is made out of fibers that are coarse enough to scratch glass.
Nobody had told me that if I was going to bother to lay out the money for expensive sunglasses then I also needed to get the right sunglass accessories. Now I carry it around microfiber cleaning cloths. These are the kinds of cloth that professional glass makers use for polishing. They are too soft to scratch. This pair of wholesale sunglasses will last me much longer. Especially since I learned that buying a small sunglass repair kit is a lot cheaper than taking them to the optician’s.
