Wolf berries or goji berries are one of the Asian berries that are highly valued for their medicinal properties. These berries are a rich source of several vitamins and trace elements such as vitamin C, selenium, and germanium. They also contain important nutritional components such as iron, and amino acids. They are known for high antioxidant properties, and they improve the immune system perceptibly.

Like Acai fruit, goji berry products also help a person to lose weight, but the results may not be as fast as that with Acai fruit. Nevertheless, they do have such properties. Apart from this, goji berries also improve the sleeping patterns the natural way. These are the reasons this fruit has been used in Chinese medicines for centuries, and have met the approval of modern nutrition experts. Goji berries are mostly found in regions that are subtropical and temperate. Therefore, Tibet, Mongolia, China and parts of Himalaya are some of the regions where these berries are found in plenty. These berries are bright red in color. They look very picturesque, appearing almost in a line amidst perpetually grayish green leaves.
