With summertime, your children want to be outdoors.  You want to be sure their education continues.  One way to meet both objectives is to take more outdoor education trips.  This can be as simple as going to the nearest zoo or botanical garden.  But if those are not going to be options where you live, just going into your backyard with a bug or butterfly book can be a tremendous learning experience.  Teach them also to identify different plants and trees.  There is so much to learn from nature – all we need to do is look and explore.
