So I was faced with the dilemma of trying to pick out a baby blanket for my best friend. She was having a shower, and this being her first, I had no idea what to look for. There seemed to be a million different brands with a million different options that all ended up looking the same. Then someone told me about Little Giraffe Baby Blankets. All I had to do was feel one and I was sold. What baby wouldn’t love their super-soft and fuzzy chenille? It’s also got this great satin border that stays cool on the skin while the chenille stays warm and fuzzy. My daughter has allergies. While at her doctor one day, he mentioned that a lot of people have a positive experience adding a shower filtration system to their home to reduce chlorine gas levels. Chlorine gas I asked?  Yes he said when chlorine that is used for disinfectant for water is heated and then put through a “atomizer” (shower head) the results are chlorine gas.  Then on top of that when our skin is heated the pores are more susceptible to the chlorine entering our body through the pores.
