I own an expensive pair of sunglasses. I know buying sunglass accessories is a great way to protect them.  I use them for driving when the sun is bright, and they make me look good too. After I scratched up my last pair, I learned to take better care of my sunglasses. I had always polished them with my shirt, sweater, or whatever was handy. The lenses were large and mirrored, and so the damage from polishing them like that showed up pretty quickly.
