My daughter has allergies. While at her doctor one day, he mentioned that a lot of people have a positive experience adding a shower filtration system to their home to reduce chlorine gas levels. Chlorine gas I asked?  Yes he said when chlorine that is used for disinfectant for water is heated and then put through a “atomizer” (shower head) the results are chlorine gas.  Then on top of that when our skin is heated the pores are more susceptible to the chlorine entering our body through the pores. Yikes!

Ok, I said. That does it! We did some research and found a site called Better Water Store where they carried the Aquasana brand shower filtration system. We choose the simpliest one.  It came in a few days  and I noticed it even had a mas sager head on it. Installation was simple, alll we had to do was to unscrew with a pair of plies the old shower head and wrap the pipe with a couple of wraps of that white teflon plumber’s tape and we were done.  I have to tell you our daughter has noticed that her skin and hair feel a lot better to.
